Nancy Dobbs Owen Interview:
Nancy Dobbs Owen was kind enough to discuss fashion tips and trends.
What jewelry trends do you see staying popular? I feel that, at least for jewelry, people are really starting to look for (or continuing to look for) pieces that make them feel something. It's not so much about what is "right" as it is about what is "right for me." For instance, I personally LOVE bracelets. I wear them all of the time, piled on if they are small or one really great big piece. My sister, who is an athlete, likes small pieces that she can't feel but that she knows are there. It's all about finding YOUR piece.
What statement piece should every woman own? Something that she loves. It's going to be unique to each woman (a white shirt? How can everyone need that? I look terrible in white, yet it is on every "should" list.) Some stone or shape or color that means "me" in the piece. That's what I think everyone should own.
