M Z Wallace Chestnut Bedford Nylon Collection

Normally when I think of nylon handbags, I think of something tacky. However that all changed when I was introduced to the M Z Wallace Chestnut Bedford Nylon collection.

Surprisingly sophisticated, the collection features an assortment of handbags and totes in lightweight, soft designs. The bags are Teflon coated for protection and are roomy enough to carry all your essentials.

M Z Wallace was founded by Monica Zwirner and Lucy Wallace Eustice back in 2000. The line offers nearly 20 collections of handbags, luggage and accessories for both men and women. Using unique materials and fresh modern shapes, M Z Wallace has garnered attention all around the country.

I reviewed the "Olivia" bag from the new Chestnut Bedford Collection. The rich brown chestnut color is perfect for fall. This bag also has a beautiful Moroccan blue lining, which is a nice contrast to the rest of the bag.

One of my favorite things about this handbag is all the pockets. Outside, you will find four large zipper pockets. Insider, six more pockets can accommodate all your important items. It also comes with a detachable little purse that's about 5 inches wide. You can keep your keys and cell phone in it for convenience. The pleating on the front pockets and slightly slouchy hobo style make this a chic, modern choice that you can carry every day.

The only thing that I didn't like about this bag was the price. At $335, I think it's a little high. However, the handbag is very stylish and of good quality. It certainly changed my opinion about nylon handbags.
